Sabrina Simonton is a native to Northern California and has been living in San Francisco since 2006. She was raised with an appreciation for music, and showed a passion for it at an early age. She began learning on the piano, before she quickly discovered her love of alto saxophone at age eight. As a teenager, she picked up a guitar and began learning chords and the fundamentals of songwriting. During college, Sabrina spent her summers working at a summer camp where she spent countless evenings teaching songs to her campers and singing around the campfire. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in Liberal Arts, she spent some time in the tech and startup world before getting back to doing what she loves -- making music with children. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys riding motorcycles, collaging, and playing synthesizer in her rock band.
"Music is both an incredible way to connect with others and to help us understand our own inner worlds. It's had such a profound impact on my life, so I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience and learn about music the way I did. I appreciate how Music Together® focuses on the very early and formative childhood years, laying a foundation for a lifetime of musicality in their students."
