Originally from the Bay Area, Teacher Ji has recently returned to the Bay after living in New York City for 7 years. During the time, she worked as a director in an after school tutoring program, working with students from pre school to seniors in high school.
During her free time, she sang in a Bossa Nova band around the city with her musician friends, playing in all types of environment including restaurants, music venues, the airport, town hall, museum and the occasional busking.
