Originally from Marin County, Kirstin Doyle is an SF-based musician, actress, and writer. She is the lead vocalist and keyboardist of her band, The Sean Conneries. She also write, performs in and directs sketch comedy shows across the Bay Area. She loves to create and perform larger-than-life characters, and will certainly infuse this level of silliness into her classroom. She holds a degree in Economics and French from Rice University.
Being the oldest of 9 kids, Kirstin grew up babysitting and spent a lot of time thinking of new and creative ways to entertain her younger siblings. She believes in the power of music to transform and unite, and is thrilled to make music an integral part of her students' lives in a nurturing and joyful way.
"Teaching class is the most joyful part of my week. Exploring music through play and creativity is so integral to early music education. I try to create classrooms that are full of love, openness, fun, and silliness, where accessing the imagination and experimentation are fully embraced. I am thrilled to help create experiences that will be a launching pad for a lifetime of happy music making."
