Neshma, our School Administrator, has always been a lover of music. Indeed she often describes herself as “rather obsessed, actually.” Having had a million corporate jobs in her previous lives, she now finds herself quite content to work for an organization whose mission is to bring the joy of music to small children and their families (especially since she occasionally feels regret over abandoning her own musical instruction as a pre-teen). Since her relocation in 2002 from London (via Paris and Oxford) to San Francisco, Neshma has rekindled her passion for music and combined it with her love of storytelling. The results can be heard in the intricate concept albums of the extraterrestrial recording artist, Micropixie and the short films of Single Beige Female.

"Although my primary role is to make sure everything runs smoothly from behind the scenes, every now and then I turn up at the classes and take part in the fun that the kids and the parents have with our fabulously dedicated teachers. Since I began working for MTSF in early 2009, I've personally encouraged all my friends with babies and toddlers to sign up for the classes and they've all ended up loving it and thanking me – sweet! I wish something like Music Together^® had existed when I was a kid, but I also strongly believe it's never too late – or early – to learn anything, especially if it makes you feel happy. I love that this program gets both children and adults to sing and make music!"
